Proyecto de inversión para la implementación de un bar-cafetería en el cantón General Antonio Elizalde (Bucay), provincia del Guayas

Abstract

The present investment project was carried out for the implementation of a cafeteria in the General Antonio Elizalde (Bucay) municipality, Guayas province, with the objective of determining if it is a profitable project and providing the city population with a quality product and service. It was decided to analyze the market environment through interviews and surveys to the owners of competing companies and future customers, which allowed to have a clearer and broader knowledge about the tastes, preferences and acceptance of the product and service, these data will be the guide to execute the project achieving the positioning and growth in the market. In addition, a technical, administrative, legal and economic-financial study was carried out, in which an investment of $ 13722.03 was determined, financial statements were also made that allowed the application of indicators obtaining a result of a Net Present Value (NPV) of $ 9021.10 an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 34%. It is concluded that the project is viable and that helps boost the economy of the municipality also will generate sources of employment. It is recommended to execute the project based on the suggested proposal in order to obtain a good return on the investment made.
