Estudio de factibilidad para la producción y comercialización de espumas flexibles de poliuretano en la ciudad de Ambato

Abstract

The present feasibility study, aims to contribute to the development of the national productive matrix and the creation of jobs in the city of Ambato. The versatility of the flexible foam polyurethane as raw material and its wide variety of uses in the branches of bedding, furniture upholstery, acoustic insulation and footwear production line and textile, make it in a non-replaceable material, causing an unsatisfied demand of 177 500 m3 per year, which are imported for the production of furniture and mattresses of foam among others in Ecuador. To reduce this deficit of raw, intends the study of feasibility for the creation of a company´s production of flexible foam polyurethane, with a capacity of annual production of 31 200 m3 for the first period, being the 17,57 % of unsatisfied demand, on the other hand was an initial investment of 1 037 265 USD, with a 14,46 % own capital and 85,54 % of financing on the CFN, the viability of this project was justified by the calculation of take TMAR(minimum attractive rate of return) 17,06 %; net present value of 4 718 053 USD; internal rate of return of 104 % and a recovery period of 1 year and 09 months capital, serving as proof of the viability of project. However to the realization of the project´s feasibility, at the time of implementation of this study, a good management of the Organization, you must take in account to achieve the results projected in the research.
