Manual de calidad bajo la norma ISO/IEC 17025 para el laboratorio de fisiología y reproducción animal en la Facultad Ciencias Pecuarias de la ESPOCH.

Abstract

The elaboration of the quality manual under the ISO IEC 17025 standard for the laboratory of Physiology and Animal Reproduction of the Faculty of Animal Sciences of the ESPOCH, is about the Quality System in the Laboratory of Physiology and Animal Reproduction, belonging to the Faculty of Sciences Livestock, ESPOCH. In accordance with the regulation ISO/IEC17025: 2005 has aimed to qualify before the Ecuadorian Accreditation Organization, allowing to increase efficiency when creating, managing and maintaining adequate procedures for a future accreditation audit. At one to the requirements that constitute the regulation applied for the laboratory, it got through the application of a checklist established by the standard a result of 65% of the documentation that it must be created to have an accreditation process. The Quality Manual represents the first level in the Quality System that supports the procedures and records that they are in charge of generating evidence and they represent the second and third level the organization documentation respectively. The research paper recommends using this Quality Manual with its respective documentation; and, training the laboratory personnel on the regulations and the consequent benefits, activity that it could be assigned to the Quality Manager in the School of livestock sciences designated by the Commission for the Evaluation and Assurance of Career Quality.
