Diseño de un plan basado en el cuadro de mando integral (Balanced Scorecard) para el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal de Guamote, Provincia de Chimborazo.

Abstract

This research work seeks the application and implementation of a plan based on Balanced to improve or procure the management of the Autonomous Government of the Canton Guamote. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) or Balanced Scorecard is a model that becomes a very useful tool for strategic management. Successful implementation is the participation of people from different levels and areas of the organization. The research is carried out through a methodology with a mixed approach, in turn with an exploratory, descriptive level through analytical-synthetic, hypothetical-deductive methods; through the application of research techniques such as the survey and the interview and their respective instruments. Arriving, to obtain results that are shown in the identification of the useful variables for the construction of the proposed Plan. Once the variables were established, the proposed hypothesis could be demonstrated, thus continuing with the proposal and design of the Institutional Strategic Plan based on the Balanced Scorecard for the Autonomous Decentralized Municipal Government of Guamote, aiming to be a guide to the authorities to achieve institutional objectives, with the efficient use of resources, thus concluding that implementing this management tool for the administration contributes to improving the quality of its processes, and it is advisable to carry out a periodic analysis of the indicators that will minimize risks and guarantee the correct and timely decision making.
