Proyecto de factibilidad para la construcción del parque central del GAD parroquial de Guasuntos

Abstract

The objective of this research work was to conduct a feasibility study for the construction of the central park of the Guasuntos Parish Council, it will improve the locality’s life quality by increasing commercial activity. The research was conducted through the use of deductive, inductive, and analytical methods, also using research tools such as the interview guide that was conducted with the president of the Parish Council of Guasuntos and the surveys led with the inhabitants of the parish, which allowed to know the need for the construction of the central park. To determine the feasibility of the project, an economic and financial analysis was shown, as well as the respective indicators, which were the Net Present Value (NPV), which yielded a positive value of $14,935.12, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 11.20%, a Benefit-Cost of $1.06 and the recovery of the investment will take 10 years because it is a social project and the respective percentage of risk was taken into consideration to avoid future inconveniences. It is recommended to consider the financial evaluation as an indispensable part of a social project since it would avoid the loss of public resources within the parish, thus generating economic setbacks, as well as the quality of life of the inhabitants
