The aim of this study was the evaluation of the antagonism and biological control potential of Trichoderma spp. against Fusarium sp. associated with pine (Pinus sp.), at laboratory and nursery level, strains of Trichoderma spp. were used, the study had two phases, the first was at laboratory level which consisted in the reactivation of pathogenic and antagonistic fungi, to carry out confrontations were used two strains of Fusarium sp. and eight strains of antagonistic fungi of the genus Thichoderma spp. to then carry out measurements of mycelial growth every 24 h, the information obtained from the mycelial growth was compiled and the fungi were chosen according to the results of the mycelial growth rate. In the nursery stage were used plants of P. radiata of 2 months and P. patula of 1 month, to carry out the control test with the selected strains were used 576 plants with the strains of Trichoderma G1, TL, TH, daily observations were made to establish the treatments with affectation towards the pathogenic fungus giving as a result that the treatment with greater incidence in P. patula was Fusarium circinatum (T5) and the lowest incidence was Control 2 without treatment (T7), the treatment with the highest incidence in P. radiata plants was where T. harzianum + F. circinatum strain 2 was inoculated (T2), and the lowest incidence was Control 2 without treatment (T7). None of the Trichoderma sp. isolates had 100% field level efficacy against inoculated Fusarium sp. isolates and the pine species most susceptible to inoculated Fusarium sp. was Pinus patula, with 100% incidence. Future research is needed to see the potential of Trichoderma fungi in the control of forest diseases.es_ES
