Evaluación de riesgos mediante la norma GTC-45 e implementación de señalética en el área de postcosecha de la Florícola AGROSANALFONSO S.A. – Machachi

Abstract

The porpuse of this study was to detail all productive activities and occupational hazards to wich workers are exposed in the post-harvest área (final production área after the rose growing área) of AGROSANALFONSO S.A., suggesting a risk prevention plan and implementing the necessary signatura to ensure the safety of workers. A Technical observation, surveys, interviews, processdiagrams, measuring instruments, INSHT questionnaries, electronic media, were necessary to collect data and thus identify the processes, controls and risks existing en the área; These were used to evaluate and assess the risks and hazards existing in each job, giving levels of acceptability guided by Guia Tecnica Colombiana (GTC-45), al this was specified in a matrix of probability of impact or so called risk matrix GTC-45, which is one of the methodologies used by Ecuadorian companies for registration and approval on the platform SUT (Sistema Único de Trabajo) of Ministerio de Trabajo where it is updated and evaluated annually. We were able to identify 20 different Jobs, finding 50 people indistinctly, mostly women with 66%, 16 risks were found with different range of acceptability prioritizing the fire factor; to help the orientation of the staff 24 signs were implemented both rescue, prohibition, warning, obligation, firefighting and by Covid-19. The safety criterio were reestablished with the objective of minimizing risks and avoiding a great impact on people exposed, this will help the company to use safety guidelines, leading workers to have more confidence when carrying out their activities within the company. By recommending the company AGROSANALFONSO S.A. to implement intervention measures bese don all the risk factors found.
