Diseño de material didáctico interactivo motivacional para los niños internos del Hospital Provincial Alfredo Noboa Montenegro.

Abstract

The present research work aimed to measure the effects of hospitalization and contribute to an emotional improvement in internal children aged 7 to 8 years of the Provincial Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro through the design and execution of teaching materials interactive motivational. For its realization, a field investigation was carried out gathering useful data that helped to understand the emotional state of the internal children. This information was collected through interviews with staff who are in daily contact with the target audience. In addition, questionnaires were used to children with the help of parents. A documentary investigation was also carried out that helped to collect and analyze useful information for the design and elaboration of the didactic material. The design methodology of Guillermo Gonzales Ruiz was adapted for the design stage, which contains the following stages: problem identification, data collection, synthesis, pregnancy, lighting, preparation and verification, through which a creative solution was found according to the problem. For the validation of the didactic material it was sought to determine the emotional state of the internal children before and after their application. To notice the change in behavior generated once the material was applied, two selfassessment tests were used with the professional help of the institution's psychologist. The first, the scale of the nine faces of McGrath, and the second the Rasgo-Estado Anxiety Inventory of Ch. Spielberger IDARE. A result was 20.16% improvement in overall average in the first test, while in the IDARE saw an overall improvement of 7 points on a scale of 45 which is equivalent to a medium state. The hospital psychologist determined that the teaching material is for motivational and therapeutic purposes, recommended for use for therapies that reduce the emotional effect of hospitalization.
