Desarrollo de un sistema web de planificación y seguimiento de proyectos para el GAD Municipal del cantón Colta

Abstract

The objective of this curriculum integration work was the development of a web application for the planning and monitoring of projects carried out in the Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal of the Colta Canton. We utilized an analytical, inductive and quasi-experimental methods to determine the theoretical foundations; in addition, we applied the SCRUM agile methodology for the development of the web application. We defined the requirements, the people involved in the project and their roles during the planning phase, from which a total of 9 Sprint were generated with a total of 33 user stories that included 6 system metaphors. In regard to the tools, we utilized the Visual Studio Code editor, Laravel Framework, which allowed us to separate the user interface with the business logic through the model view controller (MVC) architecture pattern, and we implemented the database to store the project information with MySQL. We based the evaluation of efficiency on the ISO/IEC 25010 standard, choosing the time behavior sub characteristic, and for availability it was based on ISO/IEC 27001 standard. In the analysis through the automation of the system, it was determined that there is a notable improvement in the response time for entering, listing, searching, modifying, and deleting project information. On the other hand, in the availability evaluation we determined that the system has a high availability, corresponding to 99.33%, taking into account the total time of use of the system and the scheduled and unscheduled interruptions.
