Abstract

The present investigation has for object to determine the production feasibility and commercialization of condiments and spices in the city of Riobamba. The condiments and spices have had a great protagonist in the kitchen; they are added to the allowances with the purpose of conserving them better, to perfume them and in some cases looking for medicinal goods. Their history is tied to that of the big explorations of the world, in the search of commercial routes for earth and sea, in which the small, medium and big producers look for to open up market through the production and commercialization of this type of products. Through the carried out market investigation you could identify that a segment exists of having bought devoid that is to say that unsatisfied demand exists, the obtained results after the application of the indicators economic financiers demonstrate that it is a profitable project because the TIR is on the opportunity rate, the Benefit cost is bigger at 1 and the period of recovery of the investment is starting from the second year of investment of the product. In relation to the environmental impact the project doesn’t present bigger adverse negative goods however the project it presents mitigation measures and a plan of handling of solid residuals that it counteracts the negative goods caused for: polyethylene, gases, solid residuals and served waters. The project also contributes to the development local economic partner and it strengthens the generation of working sources and it impels the generation of micro companies.
