Plan de salvaguardia del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la comunidad Cachilvana Chico, parroquia Quisapincha, cantón Ambato, provincia de Tungurahua.

Abstract

This research work focused on developing a safeguarding plan for the Cachilvana Chico community belonging to Quisapincha village, Tungurahua province. This technical tool had a specific focus on protecting the intangible cultural heritage of this locality. This study was developed in four stages: first, the territorial properties were characterized through a broad analysis of the potential and weaknesses of the territory through the situational diagnosis of the National Secretary of Planning and Development (SENPLADES). Secondly, it proceeded with the exploration, description, and analysis of the existing cultural manifestations in the territory; this information was used to record the community's intangible cultural heritage. Third, the state of vulnerability of intangible cultural heritage was determined through an assessment focused on indicators and variables that evaluated: 1) Transmission; 2) Memory; and 3) Identity. Fourth, the philosophical and strategic approach was developed, from which the mission, vision, and strategic objectives of the plan were developed. Finally, the operational plan was established with 3 programs with a total of 12 projects, where the possible financing entities of the economic investment are: the Ministry of Culture and Heritage, MINTURN, Decentralized Autonomous Government (GADM) from Ambato canton, and Decentralized Autonomous Government (GADP) from Quisapincha village. Having as a conclusion the identification of 32 cultural manifestations of which: 13 correspond to (Traditions and oral expressions), 11 to (Social uses, rituals, and festive acts), 3 to (Knowledge and uses related to nature), 3 to (Traditional handicraft techniques) and 2 to (Food and gastronomic heritage), it is recommended to the GADP from Quisapincha village designates economic resources to the Cachilvana Chico community to implement the safeguarding plan.
