The program of pasture and forage research, graduate and conservation center in the Amazon region (CIPCA) of the Amazon State University (UEA), located in the Arosemena Tola canton, at km 44 of Puyo – Tena route, it was used 10 to assess the introduction of some types of grasses in the Ecuadorian Amazon, it was cut at different ages in the research center CIPCA. The research consisted of 30 experimental plots, whose dimensions were 20m2 (5x4, net plot useful), with 3 repetitions, giving a total area of 600m2. The distribution of treatments are made by A completely randomized design combinatorial accordance, where B forage species were cutting age. From the experimental results it was possible to determine that the grass Panicum maximum cv. It dwarf Savoy, recorded 25.78% of dry matter differing significantly from the rest of fodder, having noted that in relacion to ash content, ethereal extract, protein, fat, fiber and energy no statistical difference was determined; also it states that the Tanzania and Kinggrass pastures recorded 166 and 161 cm, 57.50 and 59.67% of basal coverage and 178.67 and 171.00% of air cover, also mentioned that the increased production of green fodder Kinggrass are 36.11 ton / It has green fodder and 7.01 ton of dry matter, in relation to the Physico-Chemical characteristics of the soil, you can say that there was no change, indicating that the soil quality is maintained and no affection is for the forage production Despite the existence of climate change during the investigation stage, so for protein it is recommended to Brizhanta Brachiaria CV. Xaraes whose content was 15.03% although no significant difference was determined with other grasses.es_ES
