Implementación del reglamento interno de seguridad y salud en la Empresa OSPAVI Servicios Cía. Ltda., ubicada en el cantón Shushufindi, provincia de Sucumbíos

Abstract

The technical project allowed the implementation of an Internal Health and Safety Regulation in the company OSPAVI SERVICIOS CIA. LTDA. located in the Shushufindi canton, province of Sucumbíos, through the analysis of occupational risks by the country's current regulations. The study consisted of different stages that began with the collection of information, recognition of the workplace, identification, estimation, evaluation, and control of risks. The process analyzed was based on API certified welding, a service provided to the company EP PETROECUADOR. In terms of occupational risks, through the INSHT 3x3 Risk Evaluation Matrix in combination with the William Fine mathematical method recommended by the Ministry of Labor, it was determined that the degree of danger of the risks was recorded in 103 among physical, mechanical, biological, chemical and psychosocial risks. Those with the greatest impact with critical severity have an average of 2.50%, percentage evidenced in the operations area, those of high level in 14.17%, medium level 53.83%, and low level 29.50%. The Internal Regulations were designed under the requirements, obligations, duties, and rights of both the employer and the employee to abide by the Occupational Health and Safety measures, aimed at reducing exposure, i.e. reducing the risk, carried out by the provision of safety equipment, documentation, safety and health delegate of the company, etc. The signage was also part of the mitigation considering the areas and distance of maximum perception. Finally, it was clarified that the information in the Internal Regulations must be updated every two years, in compliance with the laws of Ecuador, but also to ensure a safe and reliable environment for the personnel, providing the appropriate channels to deal with any adverse event under a process of continuous improvement and competitiveness in the industry.
